The volunteers were approved by acclamation. Motions passed: Change the wording when ILL requests are submitted to “Request created successfully. Check Your Borrowing Record for more information.” The next item was a recommendation to change the language in the OPAC when ILL items are intransit between libraries from “Intransit/Sublibrary” to “ILL.” The final item on the PALS report was a recommendation to change the language in the OPAC from “Print Book” to “Printed Book.”

The presentation covered the services that SMSU provides to distance and online students, processing ILL requests for tangible library items, and some current (as of 2011) problems with the service.
The presentation offered a look at PALS' new website (as of 2011) and how to log in to access some new features, such as the forum and wiki. It also went through how to enter and manage requests in the support center.
The presentation discussed how to keep circulation tables up-to-date in each new academic year by adjusting circulation due dates, PLIF loader dates, patron expire dates, circulation overdue notices and bills, and calendar hours.
